 Children Wrapped in Serrano Ham 

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside! This old school Italian recipe is tasty and fit.

Prep Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients:
2 large and thin steaks (250 g)
100g of Serrano ham
50g of cream cheese
25g of mozzarella
25g blue cheese
1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan
15g of butter
60g of sliced mushrooms
60g of onion in small squares
100g of frozen spinach
2 teaspoons of chopped garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil, sauté onion until transparent. Add the chopped garlic, cook for one more minute and add the mushrooms. Cook for 10 minutes.
2. If the spinach is frozen, thaw in a separate pan with a splash of oil.
3. When the mushrooms are cooked, add the cream cheese and mix. Add the other three cheeses and cook the mixture until it melts. Turn off the fire and let it cool down for a few minutes.
4. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
5. On a board, place the Serrano ham so that they overlap and form two bases for the meat. Place the steaks on top.

6. Distribute the mixture evenly over the two steaks, leaving the edges free. Roll up the meat using the ham. If necessary, secure the meat with a toothpick.
7. Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat and place the meat rolls to brown. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes on each side, or until ham is browned on both sides.
8. Remove the rolls and place them in a baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes.

Tips: You can replace the strips of Serrano ham with strips of bacon. Another way to roast the The first thing to do is to bake the meat rolls in the oven with aluminum foil for 20 minutes, and remove the aluminum foil to brown for 10 more minutes.
